Glam in a Van

Well… my take on how to look more refined while living in a motorhome!

I’ll start with some clothing ideas…

They have to be comfortable for travel, but polished enough to look intentional. I have these faux leather Spanx Moto leggings in very black which are perfect! Their detailing adds something different. They are flattering. Their high waist is well structured to hold everything in and give you a fantastic shape. Plus they’re easy to wipe clean and durable, and have lasted me very well.

I love mixing textures, and this GUESS teddy jacket is the definition of effortless chic. While it’s a cream shade, it’s surprisingly practical – you’re far more likely to wear it while out exploring or strolling through town rather than inside the van. That makes it a beautiful, wearable statement piece that adds instant glamour without compromising on real-life practicality.

Cashmere or merino knits are luxuriously soft yet incredibly practical, as they’re are lightweight, warm, and beautifully breathable. They layer effortlessly, add instant polish to even the simplest outfit, and are perfect for staying cozy without feeling bulky – ideal for chic, on-the-road living.

Black is the ultimate shortcut to instant glamour. Reaching for this black Columbia jacket feels effortlessly refined while still being wonderfully practical. When paired with sleek black leggings and classic black boots, the look becomes streamlined, chic, and confidently put-together – proof that even life on the road in a motorhome can feel stylish and elevated.

For footwear, I’d suggest opting for a flat or low-heeled styles that are waterproof and practical, in timeless shades like black or taupe for an effortlessly elevated look. I personally wear the Columbia Newton Ridge women’s hiking boots in tan leather – they’re incredibly comfortable, fully waterproof, and strike the perfect balance between function and refined, everyday style. But to the previous point, you can’t go wrong with black!

What about some finishing touches?…

A statement beanie or scarf will elevates any outfit. Look for refined ribbed knits, indulgent textures, and subtle hints of sparkle that add warmth while bringing effortless polish to your look.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these ideas and feel inspired to add a little cozy luxury to your journey. Be sure to check back soon for more styling inspiration, including ideas for creating beautifully warm and luxe motorhome interiors.
