Back on the Road

After several blissful months soaking up the Spanish sunshine on the Costa del Sol, my husband and I are back on the road in our trusty motorhome, Kevan Wilder. This time, we’re heading back to the UK for a few months to catch up with family and friends… and yes, brace ourselves for a proper UK winter!

December 2025

Earlier this year, we spent five unforgettable months living in Kevan through late spring and early summer in England. It was our very first adventure in the motorhome that we bought in April 2025, after making some big life changes – leaving our jobs and selling our house in Surrey. With a mix of excitement and nerves, we hit the road as complete newbies and, let’s just say, we’ve learned a lot along the way.

Our motorhome journey actually began a year earlier, in May 2024, when we rented a Swift motorhome and spent nearly two weeks travelling through France. That trip was the perfect test run and really helped us figure out what we loved (and what we didn’t!) before taking the plunge and buying our own home on wheels.
